Sidney Bishop

Sidney Bishop - Division Director of Juvenile justice

Sidney Bishop is the Division Director of Juvenile Justice for Child and Family Charities. He joined the organization in 2019. Sidney has more than 20 years of experience in human services as a case manager and administrator in the areas of child welfare and juvenile justice at the private agency level. Mr. Bishop earned a Bachelor of Science Degree (Criminal Justice) from Grambling State University in 1996 and a Master’s Degree (Criminal Justice Administration) from Grambling State University in 1997.

Jessica Kiel

Jessica Kiel - Youth and Family Outreach Specialist, T.E.A.M. Attendance

Jessica Kiel earned her Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Ferris State University. Jessica has worked at Child and Family since 2021, first as an intern in the Juvenile Justice Division, then as the Youth and Family Outreach Specialist for T.E.A.M Attendance, and now as a Teen Case Manager with Teen Court. Jessica is also a coach for our Strengthening Families Program which supports families in bonding, boundaries, and monitoring skills within the family. She also provides prevention skills through the Prime for Life curriculum with local school districts in Ingham County.

Steven Holmes

Steven Holmes - Teen Case Manager

Steven has been employed with Child and Family Charities since 2004 and worked eight years in the Child Welfare department as a foster care case manager and for three years as the Behavioral Health case manager for the adolescent substance use clinic. Since 2018 Steven has worked with the Juvenile Justice division as a Certified Prevention Specialist/case manager with the Teen Court program.
