Adolescent and Young Adult Substance Abuse Treatment
Child and Family Charities has been offering substance abuse and co-occurring substance abuse and mental health counseling services to adolescents and young adults age 10 – 25 since 2000. Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate.
Referrals are accepted from young people themselves, from parents, schools, probation officers, physicians or anyone concerned. Services are available to youth from Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties. Most insurances are accepted and there is a sliding fee scale for those uninsured or with limited income. Services are available to all regardless of religion, race/ethnicity, gender, age, or sexual orientation or gender identity.
This program uses a motivational and strength-based approach in a safe and respectful environment. Therapists have experience and training working with youth and families and additional training in the treatment of substance use disorders.
