Substance Use Disorder Treatment

Child and Family Charities offers substance abuse and co-occurring substance abuse and mental health counseling service.  

Referrals are accepted from young people themselves, from parents, schools, probation officers, physicians or anyone concerned.  Services are available to youth from Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties. Most insurances are accepted and there is a sliding fee scale for those uninsured or with limited income. Services are available to all regardless of religion, race/ethnicity, gender, age, or sexual orientation or gender identity.

This program uses a motivational and strength-based approach in a safe and respectful environment. Therapists have experience and training working with youth and families and additional training in the treatment of substance use disorders.

Services include:

  • Comprehensive assessment with recommendations
  • Individual Therapy
  • Family Therapy
  • Group Therapy
  • Early Intervention Group (for youth age 13 – 15 who do not need treatment services)
  • Case Management Services to assist youth and families with community resources and life skills
