Community Parenting

Provides outreach and group-based parenting education in an intensive and targeted approach to increase parenting skills and help families achieve wellness and stability. Childcare experts teach skills that help parents parent their children with more understanding and love. This service helps parents learn to cope with the snowballing effects of isolation, fatigue, stress, and/or overwhelming responsibilities. 

The curriculum used for in-home parenting education is the nationally recognized and evidence-based Bavolek Nurturing Parenting program. The curriculum used for group-based parenting education is the nationally recognized and evidence-based Love and Logic program.
