The SILS program works with youth who are aging out of foster care with the goal of helping them become economically independent, self-sufficient, and productive members of the community. The SILS housing coordinator works individually with each youth to locate affordable housing and develop an independent living plan. The coordinator provides weekly visits to the youth's home to monitor progress and provide support.
