OUR BEGINNING

Since 1911, Child and Family Charities has been serving the Greater Lansing community by protecting and strengthening its children and families. Established as the Ingham County Brach of Michigan Children's Aid Society, the founding purpose of this private, non-profit organization is "to strengthen and support children, families, and individuals as they evolve and grow in a changing community." Over the years, CFC has evolved into a multi-service organization that provides services directed at keeping families intact and strengthening the community's health, happiness and self sufficiency.
